Taking Fortune Art to Indonesia

How have you been?

I’ve just made a sudden decision to travel to Indonesia this month.

Last July, I had the opportunity to visit the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Da Nang, Vietnam, as part of a government-related event. On that occasion, I created and donated a piece of Ukiyo-e Fortune Art symbolizing the “bond” between Vietnam and Japan.

I was later delighted to hear that the artwork was very well received and is being carefully displayed.

Then, I received an unexpected message:
“We have a Japanese cultural event in Indonesia this month. Would it be possible for you to create an Indonesia version of that artwork?”

And furthermore:
“There will also be a presentation slot on Japanese culture during the event. It’s short notice, but would you be able to come to Indonesia and present as well?”

Indonesia…!?

As it happened, my schedule for that week had just opened up—but at the same time, I had concerns: finances, a packed workload… all of that briefly crossed my mind.

But opportunities like this don’t come often.

Before I knew it, I had already replied, “Yes!”

So, I’ll be heading to Indonesia this month.

The city I’ll be visiting is Bandung, known for its concentration of universities and high academic standards. I’m truly looking forward to meeting the people there.

Looking back, ever since I began creating Ukiyo-e Fortune Art, my world, connections, and opportunities have expanded dramatically over the past year.

I feel that I am truly experiencing “good fortune” firsthand.

Now, a new door to the world is opening.

And just a small note—my Ukiyo-e Fortune Art is created using traditional patterns tailored to each person’s wishes and intentions.

If this resonates with you,
and if you’re seeking a touch of good fortune,
please feel free to reach out.
