Disaster Recovery Support: Coffee Label Design

February 19, 2025 (Wednesday)

I had the honor of designing the coffee label for the OUEN COFFEE Project, which supports recovery efforts for areas affected by the Noto Peninsula earthquake and heavy rains.

With every coffee purchase, 10% of the proceeds are donated through the Japanese Red Cross Society to support disaster-affected regions. Each cup of coffee becomes a meaningful contribution toward recovery.

As a Ukiyo-e Fortune Art Artist, I aim to share the beauty and meaning of traditional Japanese patterns. For this label, I incorporated the “Yagasuri” (arrow feather) pattern into the design of the coffee cup, with the heartfelt wish that people’s lives may return to peace as soon as possible.

This pattern symbolizes the idea that an arrow, once released, flies straight forward—representing the hope that misfortune will not return.

We sincerely appreciate your support in expanding this circle of social contribution and cultural activity through collaboration and connection.
