Color Seminar in Morioka

December 9, 2025 (Tue)

I had the opportunity to give a seminar in my hometown, Morioka City in Iwate Prefecture, hosted by the Iwate Interior Coordinators Association.

The theme was:
“Expanding Interior Design Proposals through a Personal Color Perspective.”

(For reference, the foundation of my “Re-Branding” work is based on coaching and styling.)

It had been a while since I last conducted a seminar focused on color—especially for professional interior coordinators—so I carefully considered how to structure the session.

In the end, we created a 90-minute program that included interactive workshops. Around 30 participants, ranging from students to business professionals, joined and engaged in a lively and enjoyable atmosphere.

This opportunity came through an introduction from Makiko Fuji, whom I knew from my time in Morioka.

Although we now live far apart, I was truly touched that she remembered me and reached out.

Back then, she was someone who actively organized events and worked tirelessly for others, helping build the foundation of the local music scene in Morioka.
I hope that, in some small way, this seminar contributed to giving back to our hometown.

Makiko, the organizing team, and all participants—
thank you very much.
